Made in England

We are so proud to announce the launch of our Made in England collection, something we have always felt passionate about, to bring part of the Cut&Pin experience back home to be made.

For us being able to support and partner with UK manufacturers is incredibly important to our core values as a contemporary menswear brand pioneering for change in the fashion industry.

Another part of this story is the introduction of UK made fabrics that have been lovingly woven in mills that have years of heritage and craftsmanship.

Our Oxford shirting is sourced from a renowned cotton mill in Lancashire, called Acorn whose story struck a chord with us. The founder began the business back in the ’70s by weaving unwanted fabrics into new fabrics for companies that wanted to do small runs of production. Acorn quickly gained a reputation in the industry as one of the most prestigious cotton mills in the world.

Our deadstock wool melton is from a Yorkshire mill steeped in history, called Abraham Moon whose incredible story spans 180 years of producing woollen textiles. Moon prides itself on being a fully vertical mill that designs, dyes, blends, spins and weaves all the raw wool on-site, creating fabrics that truly are a testament to the quality, craftsmanship and sustainability this mill has pioneered over the years.

Our cotton chino fabric is from a family run business, also in Lancashire, called M. Chapman & Sons who specialise in premium cotton. By bringing the full experience of weaving and dying back in-house, Chapman controls the production and quality of their cotton, to ensure its fabric is the best in class.

Detail is always something we pride ourselves on and here at Cut&Pin, we believe that creating the simplest piece takes time, skill and craft, all values that we think are currently missing in the fashion landscape.

We strive to reduce the environmental impact in everything we do and this ethos drives our decision making, even when considering the type of button we use.

All of our made in England collection has buttons from UK manufacturers and are produced in Corozo nut, which is 100% natural and non-toxic.  Except for our wool overshirt, which is finished off using recycled buttons, all in the name of circular fashion.

With the design, cloth and manufacture made exclusively in England, we truly believe sustainability remains at the heart of Cut&Pin.
