A successful entrepreneur once said...,
“Any time is a good time to start a company”
Not sure some would agree after the challenges of 2020, but Al and I had been talking around the idea of starting a menswear brand back in the early part of 2019 and nothing was going to stop us now, not even a global pandemic.
Some said you must be both mad, stupid even but we had a vision and a determination to start something fresh and new and both felt passionate about, fashion and the impact it was having on the environment, so the time was to stop talking and start doing.
So with the help and support from friends and family we set about to create Cut&Pin and we could not have done this, without the belief of the people behind Al and I who have invested their time and backed us to make this dream reality.
This really is a time when that little black book of contacts comes in handy and the longstanding relationships that Al and I have built throughout our own careers have been without doubt, invaluable because without these people and suppliers, there would be no Cut&Pin collection, branding, photography and marketing.
It definitely hasn’t been an easy ride and it really is a case of all hands on deck but we are proud of what we have achieved so far and very excited, if a little nervous of what we have in store for Cut&Pin.
We really are at the start of our journey and the ideas we have, some of which have been scuppered by the challenges of this year, are the ideas we want to bring to life into 2021 and beyond.
